New episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live! are returning following its production hiatus, albeit with a different format. ABC has announced the late night talk show will return to TV Monday, March 30, broadcasting live from the host’s house in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic.
Kimmel tweeted out the news Thursday morning, in addition to revealing that former Vice President and current democratic candidate Joe Biden will join him in a “minilogue” digital episode this evening.
A new quarantine #minilogue from home with Vice President @JoeBiden tonight and we are returning to TELEVISION with new episodes (also from my house) all next week @ABCNetwork #StayHome #Eat

Guests set to appear on the show next week include Jennifer Anniston, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeff Tweedy, and alternative band Grouplove. The host has been releasing “minilogues” on YouTube from his home since ABC, in addition to NBC and CBS, announced it would shut down production of all late night series until further notice. Uploading seven episodes so far, these at-home editions of the show feature guests such as Courtney Cox, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and even his wife, Molly, and their two children.
New episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live! will return this Monday, March 30, however, ABC has yet to announce which time slot it will plan to fill.
