Jeremy Renner’s ‘Rennervations’ To Premiere On April 12

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney+ has confirmed release date for reality docuseries Rennervations, starring two-time Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker, The Town). Renner is best known for his role as Clint Barton (aka Hawkeye) in the Marvel cinematic universe film franchise and Mike McLusky in Mayor of Kingstown.

Rennervations is set to debut on April 12. The series, produced by Boardwalk Pictures, consists of four parts and will “take Renner back to his hometown of Reno, Nevada, as well as three other cities — Chicago, Illinois; Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; and Rajasthan, India — where the construction veteran works with his team of expert builders to identify decommissioned vehicles that can be rebuilt to serve a new purpose,” via The Hollywood Reporter.

Renner said of the project: “I’ve been on this journey for many years, and I started in my community by building vehicles for people in need. But a few years ago, I thought: How can I plus this up and create a bigger impact on a whole community? And that’s what this show does. This is one of my biggest passions and it’s a driving force in my recovery, and I can’t wait for the world to see it.”

This marks the actor’s second show to be released since his unfortunate snowplow accident in early January. He broke thirty-two bones and was hospitalized in critical condition for several days, undergoing various surgeries. Renner has kept his fans updated during his rehabilitation, using his platform to spread a positive message about the love and support he has received.

The official trailer for Rennervations is available below. Renner himself shared the teaser on Instagram to celebrate the news, saying, “We are all so very proud and excited to share with you all finally!!! Love you all 💗. Im coming back very soon. 🙏❤🙏”
