Jeremy Clarkson’s ‘The Grand Tour’ Gets Official Release Date

Car junkies have another show to look forward to: Almost a year after its announcement, The Grand Tour, a motoring show hosted by former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, will be released on Amazon Prime on November 18th. The Hollywood Reporter had the story.

The Grand Tour‘s launch date was announced in a teaser released on the show’s Youtube channel. The teaser features Clarkson, May, and Hammond doing what they do best: driving fast cars while trying (and failing) not to freak out.

The former Top Gear presenters signed up for three seasons of The Grand Tour following Clarkson’s controversial departure from the popular British motoring series, wherein he was fired for punching a producer. Hammond and May refused to continue Top Gear without Clarkson, so the three instead struck a deal with Amazon to create The Grand Tour.

Top Gear wrapped up series 23 last year, which featured rotating hosts that included stars like Matt Leblanc (FriendsEpisodes) and Chris Evans (Captain America: The First AvengerSnowpiercer). The show received mixed reviews, and Evans stepped down after hosting only six episodes. Planning for series 24 is currently underway.

The first episode of The Grand Tour will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video November 18th, with new episodes released every Friday.
