Invincible follows a teenage boy, Mark Grayson, voiced by Steven Yeun (Minari, Nope, Mayhem), who’s body is going through changes; superhuman changes. He has increased strength, durability, and the power of flight at his disposal. Mark’s father Nolan also known as the famous superhero Omni-Man, voiced by J.K. Simmons (Whiplash, Spiderman: No Way Home, Juno) tries to teach mark how to properly control his abilities. Everything is going great in the superhero community until we learn about Omni-Man’s ill intentions of world invasion preparations from his alien race. Omni-Man playing under the cover of hero decides to brutally murder the strongest heroes on the planet in one fell swoop. That was just the pilot episode.

Fans are exited that they are finally getting a second season of Invincible after waiting three years  for the show’s continuation (Invincible Season 2 to Premiere Late 2023). On January 20th, Seth Rogen (The Interview, Supedbad, Pineapple Express) and Yeun voiced their iconic roles in the high-action animation series, telling the public that more Invincible is on the way. Fans are even more stoked about Morgan’s involvement with the show and what role would the deep-voiced actor would portray. Speculations say he could be cast as a villain called Conquest who is surprisingly more violent and less compassionate of season one’s main antagonist Omni-Man.

This isn’t the first time Morgan has played a leading role in a comic book television show. In the multi-Emmy award winning series The Walking Dead, Morgan plays a villainous character named Negan who is often known for his cruelty, inhumanity, and downright murder of beloved characters. Ironically, one of the character that was on the receiving end of Negan’s bloody barbed bat was Glenn; played by actor Steven Yeun (aka Invincible). Only working together for a short time fans might be able to hear Yeun’s and Morgan’s new superhero roles later this year.

Morgan is also to be rumored to be the main antagonist in the fourth season of The Boys, another comic book series that follows the corrupt secret lives of superheroes and their lack of accountability for controversial actions. Morgan is set to play another main antagonist for the season called “Tek Knight” a superhero with high technological savvy and a knack for gadgets, derived from the early stories of Iron Man and Batman.
