James Remar Joins ‘Franklin & Bash’

The 60-year-old actor was cast to guest-star on the TNT drama, TVLine reports.

Remar will be Cliff Menders, the owner of a strip bar who’s very miser and “would rather fire a pole dancer than pay her an extra nickel out of his own pocket.” He’ll be facing Franklin & Bash on the court room.

The one episode in which James Remar will star, will also welcome another guest: Kevin McKidd (Grey’s Anatomy). But the two actors have different storylines and although they’ll share an episode, their paths won’t cross at all.

Coincidence has it that one of the most recent works Remar has done has been exactly on Grey’s Anatomy, where he played Alex Karev (Justin Chambers)’s substance-addicted father. Other than that, the actor is definitely best known for his role on Dexter, as Harry Morgan, Dexter (Michael C. Hall)’s dad.

The fourth season of Franklin & Bash will premiere on TNT on Wednesday, August 20th, at 10 p.m.
