Fox has purchased a new half-hour comedy series produced by Jake Johnson of the network’s flagship comedy New Girl, Deadline reports.
The series will be written and co-produced by Matt Spicer and will follow a 9-year-old golf prodigy, his dysfunctional family and the below average father who is determined to make them all winners. 20th Century Fox TV, the same studio behind New Girl, will produce as well. Johnson will be using his and Max Winkler’s newly launched production company Walcott Co.
