Is It a Dream This Time: ‘Lost’ Revival at ABC?

ABC President Channing Dungey is not making any promises about a revival…yet. According to TV Line, Channing has no immediate plans to take viewers back to the Lost island but she isn’t ruling it out. “We have not had any official discussions about that,” the exec maintains. “It’s something that’s on a list of, ‘Wouldn’t that be great if… ,” but at this point it’s only at that place.’

The rumour mill began its slow churn when former co-showrunner Carlton Cuse dropped hints at a return to the alphabet network. The deal with ABC Studio has Cuse working on new and solo projects for network or streaming services.

Series executive producer and co-creator Damon Lindelof expressed a curiosity at revisiting the Lost but again, no promises. He told TV Line, “It would be really exciting if there’s another incarnation of Lost, I just won’t have any association with it. Not because I’m too good for it. I just feel like, again, we worked so hard to end our story, that to come back and say, ‘Well, that wasn’t the real ending,’ would be frustrating.”
