Detroit rappers Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J are getting their own television show.
After making themselves known through their music career, these clowns starred in the 2010 film Big Money Rustlas. Now, the duo is moving to television.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Insane Clown Posse Theater will premiere on Fuse this summer.
Insane Clown Posse Theater features Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope commenting on music videos and other trends. The pair will also perform sketches and most assuredly provide many amusing anecdotes. The weekly half-hour show, according to Vulture, provides the rapper’s “twisted take” on pop culture.
Fuse has already featured clips of the Insane Clown Posse commenting on video segments, with good results.
Insane Clown Posse Theater, which is based on a current web series, will premiere on Fuse on Wednesday, July 24.
