Time to fill your pickle jar cravings…the trailer for season 8 of Portlandia has been unscrewed. IFC released the 45 second teaser ahead of the upcoming January 18 premiere of the final season.
Stars Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein bring back their crazy cast of Portland’s quirky residents including The Goths who appear to be delivering some passing words. The clip also highlights the upcoming antics of Cath and Dave, Spyke, and Toni and Candace as well as some bits we cannot identify. There is the brief glimpse of Kyle MacLachlan making it all worthwhile.
The hipster generation comedy debuted in 2011 poking fun at peculiar people but doesn’t always sit well with the people of Portland. Even with its quirky sketches on adult hide and seek leagues, the city has certainly seen a boom. Over the last seven seasons, Portlandia brought a variety of celebrities from Kristen Wiig to Steve Buscemi through the once small town.
So grab a pen, pull out your favorite notebook, put a bird on it, and take a peek at the trailer.
