The Huffington Post reports that Luther star Idris Elba was hospitalized over the weekend after suffering an asthma attack.
Elba was boarding a plane in the United Kingdom bound for Johannesburg, South Africa, for the premiere of his new film Mandeka: Long Walk to Freedom. The 41-year-old actor was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released. Elba did eventually make it to the premiere of the new film and was seen with Mandela’s wife, Graca Machel, and ex-wife, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.
