The not-so-super heroes in Hulu’s The Awesomes has been renewed for a third season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this animated series, starring Seth Meyers, will return in 2015.
Telling the tale of a superhero team that has become less than super when abandoned by some of its most powerful members, The Awesomes includes voices from some well-known stars including Tara Killam, Kenan Thompson, and Rashida Jones.
With a growing fanbase and hefty collection of character voices of some of the funniest people on television, there is no doubt that a third season was in order. Dubbed on Hulu’s original series, it will only increase traffic to site after the online video site has acquired streaming rights to the long time running Comedy Central series, South Park.
