Hulu Renews ‘Only Murders in the Building’ for Season Four

According to Deadline, Hulu has renewed Only Murders in the Building for fourth season. Deadline reports that the writers room is expected to begin working shortly now that the WGA strike has ended.

The premiere of Only Murders in the Building season three received the most viewers of any Hulu Original scripted series in 2023. The season follows Charles, Mabel, and Oliver as they investigate a murder that took place behind the scenes of a Broadway show.

Paul Rudd (Ant-Man, Clueless) guest stars as Ben Glenroy, a Hollywood action star who is murdered the night of his Broadway debut. Maryl Streep (The Devil Wears Prada, Mamma Mia!) guest stars as Loretta Durkin.

The series also features James Caverly (Only Murders in the Building, A Bennett Song Holiday) as Theo Dimas, Nathan Lane (Stuart Little, Beau is Afraid) as Teddy Dimas, Tina Fey (30 Rock, Saturday Night Live) as Cinda Canning, Michael Cyril Creighton (High Maintenance, Spotlight) as Howard Morris, Da’Vine Joy Randolph (The Idol, The Lost City) as Detective Williams, and Jackie Hoffman (Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, Feud) as Uma Heller.

Only Murders in the Building is created by John Hoffman (Northern Lights, Good Boy!) and Martin. The series is executive produced by Martin, Hoffman, Short, Gomez, Jess Rosenthal (Fire with Fire, License to Wed), and Dan Fogelman (This Is Us, The Neighbors). It is produced by 20th Television and is the most watched comedy original on Hulu.

All three seasons of Only Murders in the Building are available to stream on Hulu, with the finale of season three debuting today. Both Short and Lane are up for Emmy awards for their roles as Oliver Putnam and Teddy Dimas.
