According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actresses Morena Baccarin and Morgan Saylor will not be regulars on the upcoming Homeland season.
It looks like Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis)’s family will be getting a lot less airtime on the upcoming fourth season of Homeland.
The actresses who play his wife and daughter were just downgraded from regular cast members to guest stars, which also happened with Mike, played by Diego Klattenhoff, the fourth member of the family.
Morena Baccarin’s Jessica has been noticeably absent from Homeland‘s current season and while Morgan Saylor’s Dana was actually a very prominent character on the first few episodes of this season, the focus of the show has shifted again and made both their characters pretty much “disposable,” therefore the downgrade happening.
Homeland‘s third season finale airs this Sunday at 9 p.m ET/PT on Showtime.
