HBO Shifts Air Times For Final Two Episodes Of ‘Industry’ Season Three

According to an official press release, HBO has announced scheduling update for the final two episodes of the critically acclaimed drama series Industry. Episodes seven and eight of the third season, airing on Sunday, September 22, and Sunday, September 29, will continue to debut on Max at 9:00 p.m. ET. However, their airing on HBO will be pushed back to 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, following the new series The Penguin.

The third season of Industry premiered on HBO on August 11, 2024, and has continued to drop new weekly episodes. Created by Mickey Down (You, Me, And The Apocalypse, Gregor) and Konrad Kay (The Avengers, Hoff The Record), the show takes an intense look into the world of high finance, following a group of ambitious young bankers navigating the pressures of the corporate world, alongside the personal temptations of power, sex and drugs. The series is set within the London office of Pierpoint & Co, a fictional international investment bank.

As mentioned by the press release, season three brings Yasmin, played by Marisa Abela (Barbie, Back To Black), Robert, portrayed by Harry Lawtey (You And Me, Mr.Burton) and Eric, played by Ken Leung (Rush Hour, Lost) to the forefront as they become central figures in the high-profile initial public offering (IPO) of Lumi, a green tech company led by Sir Henry Muck, portrayed by Kit Harington (Game Of Thrones, Pompeii). This season’s storyline delves deep into the high-stakes world of ethical investing, a timely and relevant topic as Pierpoint looks to the future.

Meanwhile, former Pierpoint banker Harper, played by Myha’la Herrold (Leave The World Behind, Bodies Bodies Bodies) who departed the firm in season two, is eager to re-enter the fast-paced world of finance. She forms an unexpected alliance with Petra Koenig, portrayed by Sarah Goldberg (Barry, The Night House), a portfolio manager at Future Dawn.

As mentioned in the press release, Industry has garnered widespread critical acclaim since its debut. The Atlantic hailed the second season as “the most thrilling show on TV,” while GQ labeled it “the first great Gen Z workplace drama.” As the third season continues, fans can expect more of the same gripping storytelling and high-stakes drama that has defined the series.

Produced by Bad Wolf for HBO and the BBC, Industry has cemented itself as a must-watch for fans of workplace dramas, with its sharp writing, intense performances, and an insider’s view of the cutthroat finance world.
