HBO Sets February Premiere Dates for ‘Crashing’, ‘Girls’, and ‘Last Week Tonight’

New seasons of HBO shows will be coming just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The cabler has officially set February premiere dates for GirlsLast Week Tonight with John Oliver, and the upcoming Pete Holmes comedy series Crashing. Both Girls and Last Week Tonight are scheduled to return on Sunday, February 12th with Crashing debuting the following Sunday, February 19th.

Creator/star Lena Dunham’s Emmy-winning Girls airs first at 10:00 pm with its sixth and final season. The series also stars Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, Adam Driver, Alex Karpovsky, Andrew Rannells, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Dunham executive produces the NY 20-something comedy series along with Judd Apatow, Jenni Konner, Ilene S. Landress, Murray Miller, and Bruce Eric Kaplan.

The fourth season of John Oliver’s Emmy-winning satirical political/news-oriented series will air at 11:oo pm. Last Week Tonight is executive produced by Oliver, Tim Carvell, Liz Stanton, Jon Thoday, and James Taylor. The writing staff on the series, along with Oliver, includes Carvell, Dan Gurewitch, Kevin Avery, John Gondelman, Geoff Haggerty, Jeff Mauer, Scott Sherman, Will Tracy, Jill Twiss, and Juli Weiner.

New comedy series Crashing will fill the gap between Girls and Last Week Tonight when it premieres on the 19th, airing at 10:30 pm. Created by and starring Pete Holmes, the series follows Holmes as a stand-up comic who begins to reexamine his life after finding out his wife was having an affair. The series also stars Artie Lange, Wild Horse Lauren Lapkus, and T.J. Miller. Crashing is executive produced by Holmes and Judd Apatow.
