HBO Max Announces Season Two Renewal for ‘Raised by Wolves’

The HBO Max original drama series Raised by Wolves has been renewed for a second season, according to Deadline. The series was created by Aaron Guzikowski (Prisoners) and premiered on the new Warner Media streaming service platform on September 3 with its first three episodes of its eighth episode order. The original program received help in the director’s chair from Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner) for the first two episodes and is executive produced by Guzikowski, Scott, Jordan Sheehan (American Gangster), Mark Huffam (Game of Thrones, The Martian), Adam Kolbrenner (Prisoners, Call Me Fitz), and David W. Zucker (The Man in the High Castle, The Terror).

Raised by Wolves is yet again another science fiction venture for director Scott as it follows two androids who are on a mission to raise the children of the human race following the destruction of Earth as the universe knew it. The cast features Amanda Collin (Splitting Up Together) as the android Mother, Abubakar Salim (Jamestown) as the other android Father, Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Niamh Algar (Calm With Horses), Winta McGrath (Doctor Doctor), Matias Varela (Point Break, Narcos), Felix Jamieson (The Ghost), Jordan Loughran (The Infiltrator, Dixi), and many more. 

The fourth and fifth episodes of Raised by Wolves is set to be released on HBO Max on September 10. Additionally, the sixth and seventh will be on the platform on September 17 with the finale episode of the first season to be released on September 24 alone. Currently, there is no news available concerning the anticipated start date for production for the second season in addition to an expected release date for the streaming original.
