According to Deadline, Dominic Colón (Power, Escape at Dannemora), Margarita Levieva (Inherit the Viper, The Lincoln Lawyer) and Owen Teague (The Stand, It) have been cast for Brad Ingelsby’s (Run All Night, The Way Back) Untitled Brad Ingelsby Task Force Project on HBO. The series is currently in the pre-production stage.
The cast is led by Mark Ruffalo (All the Light We Cannot See, Begin Again) as FBI agent Tom. The rest of the cast is rounded out with Fabien Frankel (House of the Dragon, The Serpent) as Anthony, Emilia Jones (Locke & Key, Cat Person) as Maeve, Thuso Mbedu (Is’Thunzi, The Underground Railroad) as Aleah, Jamie McShane (The Lincoln Lawyer, Wednesday) as Perry and Alison Oliver (Conversations with Friends, Saltburn) as Lizzie.
According to mxdwn, the series synopsis is “the series is set in the working-class suburbs outside of Philadelphia and follows an FBI agent who heads a Task Force. His goal is to put an end to a string of drug-house robberies led by an unsuspecting family man.”
The series is executive produced by Ingelsby, Ruffalo, Jeremy Yaches (We the Animals, The Last Ice Merchant) for Public Record, David Crockett (The Gilded Age, Gone Baby Gone), Mark Roybal (No Country for Old Men, Those Who Wish Me Dead) for wiip Productions, Paul Lee (The Summer I Turned Pretty, White House Plumbers) also for wiip Productions, Salli Richardson-Whitfield (A Low Down Dirty Shame, Eureka), Nicole Jordan-Webber (A Star is Born, Under the Lights), and Jeremiah Zagar (The Fix, 7 Deadly Sins). Richardson-Whitfield and Zagar both direct episodes of the series.
Colón was recently in Bull, acting alongside Michael Weatherly (NCIS, Dark Angel), Geneva Carr (It’s Complicated, Wonder Wheel) and Jaime Lee Kirchner (The Mob Doctor, Just Legal).
Levieva recently starred in Litvinenko with David Tennant (Doctor Who, Broadchurch), Mark Bonnar (Guilt, Shetland) and Neil Maskell (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Peaky Blinders).
Teague recently appeared in Reptile with Benicio del Toro (Traffic, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas), Justin Timberlake (The Social Network, In Time) and Alicia Silverstone (Clueless, Miss Match).
