‘Gifted’ Star Mckenna Grace Joins Season 4 of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’

Hulu’s drama series, The Handmaid’s Tale, welcomes Mckenna Grace (Troop Zero) in their Season 4 production. The production restart was initiated four weeks ago according to Deadline.

The Handmaid’s Tale cast were in active production before the coronavirus outbreak and quarantine occurred in mid-March. But, slowly the production has been picking up, as well with cast member selecting for the anticipated fourth season.
“We were two weeks into shooting when we shut down, so we didn’t get a lot in the can,” said Elisabeth Moss (Us) via Deadline“Our writers are still writing, and they’re continuing to write the season obviously remotely from their own homes separately, and that train is still chugging along.”

Grace will star as the role of Mrs. Keyes, who is in charge of her own farm and household. The confident Mrs. Keyes is a young wife of an older Commander in The Handmaid’s Tale with a dark, insane personality that is highlighted outwardly by her rebellious charisma.

As the third season finale included a gory moment of star Moss’s character bleeding out from a gunshot wound after staging a revolt of the Marthas and Handmaids. Plus, the over 100 saved children safely reaching the arms of both Samira Wiley’s and O-T Fagbenle’s character. The burning questions arise for the fourth season’s beginning.

The Handmaid’s Tale is produced by MGM Television and internationally distributed by MGM. Featured stars include Moss, Joseph Fiennes (Hercules), Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck), Samira Wiley (Orange is the New Black), Alexis Bledel (Crypto), Ann Dowd (Hereditary), Max Minghella (Teen Spirit), Madeline Brewer (Cam), O-T Fagbenle (Black Widow), Amanda Brugel (Vendetta), Bradley Whitford (Perfect Harmony), and Sam Jaeger (Parenthood).

Season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale will include only 10 episodes and will not be following the format of former seasons according to Indiewire. The anticipated season will be airing in 2021.
