Gaumont International Television (GIT), the Los Angeles-based production arm of the French film studio Gaumont, has added three new executives. These new hires are Carol Trussell, Adam Fishbach and Mary Carol Bulger.
Trussell, who previously worked as a producer on True Blood, Roswell and The Playboy Club, will be GIT’s Head of Production. Fishbach will focus on new series development as Supervisor of Creative Affairs; he is a former executive at Chris Morgan Productions. Bulger, the previous Production/Distribution Administrator at Exclusive Media Group, will serve as Director of Production Administration at GIT.
The new executives have joined the company in anticipation of the upcoming year. GIT recently received second season renewals for its first two series, Hannibal and Hemlock Grove, with third series set to begin production next year. Via Deadline, Nicolas Winding Refn of “Drive” fame is set to direct this newest series—Barbarella, a remake of the 1968 science fiction film of the same name.
