The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Friends alum David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian will join Cuba Gooding Jr. as Simpson and Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark. American Crime: The People v. O.J. Simpson is based on Jeffrey Toobin’s best-selling book The run of his Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson. The 10-episode first season from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck examines the O.J. Simpson trial from the perspective of the lawyers and will expose the chaotic behind the scenes maneuvering on both sides of the court.
