The Strain and You’re The Worst have premiere dates for their third seasons, Deadline reports.
Guillermo Del Toro and Carlton Cuse’s horror series, based on Del Toro and Chuck Hogan’s trilogy of novels, premieres on FX on Sunday August 28th at 10 P.M. for its 10-episode third season.
This third season of the horror series sees New York City as a battleground being fought over by the last surviving humans and the strigoi. The season picks up after the death of a major character, and as Fet, Setrakian, Quinlan, Gus and Angel are all together on a boat after their encounter in the sewers. The series stars Corey Stoll, David Bradley, Kevin Durand, Jonathan Hyde, Richard Sammel, Natalie Brown, Jack Kesy and Miguel Gomez.
Stephen Falk’s dark romantic comedy series You’re The Worst returns to FXX on Wednesday August 31st at 10 P.M. for its 13-episode third season.
You’re The Worst tells the story of two destructive, selfish people trying to make love and a relationship work with each other. The series stars Aya Cash, Chris Geere, Desmin Borges, Kether Donahue, Allan McLeod, Todd Robert Anderson, Janet Varney and Brandon Mychal Smith. Season 3 will continue to see Gretchen and Jimmy navigate their bizarre relationship after they struggled together through season 2 with Jimmy trying to figure out how to act about Gretchen’s issues with depression.
