Fox International Channels has launched its crime-themed pay channel Foxcrime on South Africa’s DStv network, explains The Hollywood Reporter.
Foxcrime is set to feature popular series Criminal Minds, CSI and Blue Blood, in addition to new production The Bridge, an adaptation of the hit Scandinavian series in which FIC co-produced and aired on FX Network in the U.S. The pay-channel has reached 1.6 million subscribers.
For the South African broadcast, Foxcrime will also air Case Files: Africa, a factual slot focusing on infamous crime stories from across the continent.
Foxcrime originally launched in Italy back in 2006 and has since reached over 25 million homes globally.
