According to Deadline, Netflix debuted first-look pictures for Season Two of My Life With the Walter Boys! based on Ali Novak (Paper Hearts, Heartbreakers)’s book of the same name. Season Two is returning this summer, and it has already been renewed for a third season. Following the December 2023 launch of Season One, the show was rapidly renewed for a sophomore season.

In the second season, Jackie Howard returns to Silver Falls, Colorado after she suddenly left the town in which she lived briefly to spend the summer in New York City. Jackie moved in with the Walters family, led by her late mother’s best friend Katherine Walter, following the loss of both parents and her older sister Lucy in a devastating car accident. Katherine took Jackie in along with her daughter and nine sons on the ranch that has been in her husband George’s family for many generations. While Jackie was accommodating to her new life with a big family and new high school, she ended up involved in a love triangle between brothers Cole and Alex, Deadline states.  

The Season Two logline states, “When Katherine convinces her to return to Colorado, Jackie is determined to make amends with Alex and set boundaries with Cole while finding her place within the Walter family. But fitting back in isn’t that easy. Alex – who changed a lot over the summer – isn’t too thrilled about Jackie’s attempts to reconnect, as he’s focused on training for a risky rodeo event (and enjoying all of the new attention he’s getting),” via Deadline. 

Cole also changed, not only Alex; “Cole takes on a new role at school, but when that doesn’t quite fill the void left by not playing football, his old ways creep back in and cause drama,” the logline continues. “As Jackie gains acceptance in Silver Falls while trying to hold onto her Howard identity, she’s forced to make a choice that could destroy everything she’s worked to rebuild,” Deadline notes. 

Deadline adds that Season Two will star Nikki Rodriguez (On My Block, Back to Lyla) as Jackie Howard, Sarah Rafferty (Suits, The Devil Wears Prada) as Katherine Walter, Marc Blucas (First Daughter, Knight and Day) as Katherine’s husband George, Noah LaLonde (The Smile I Wear, Deer Camp ‘86) as Cole, and Ashby Gentry (Mooch, Speechless) as Alex. 

Season 2 will also star Connor Stanhope (Garage Sale Mysteries series, When Calls the Heart) as Cole’s twin brother Danny Walter, Johnny Link (Dear Edward) as Will Walter, Corey Fogelmanis (Girl Meets World, Ma) as Nathan Walter, Zoë Soul (The Purge, Prisoners) as Hayley, Jaylan Evans (Spirit Rangers, Power Book III: Raising Kanan) as Skylar, Myles Perez (Sam & Cat, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn) as Lee, Isaac Arellanes (Ghostwriter, Blue Miracle) as Isaac, Ashley Tavares (Hanky Panky, Hollywood Heights) as Tara, Alex Quijano (Unforgettable, Tumbledown) as Jackie’s Uncle Richard, Alix West (Speak No Evil, The Good Nurse) as Parker Walter, Dean Petriw (Harvest Love, Falling for Vermont) as Jordan Walter, and Lennix James (Superman & Lois, Goodnight, Bella) as Benny Walter, as mentioned by Deadline. 

Kolton Stewart (I Declare War, A Wake) will return as Dylan, Alisha Newton (Heartland, Devil in Ohio) as Erin, Ellie O’Brien (Kingdom Come, Doors Open) as Grace, Mya Lowe (Murder in a Small Town, The J Team) as Kiley, and Gabrielle Jacinto (Deadly Midwife, The Vows We Keep) as Olivia. Nathanial Arcand (Sinners, Heartland) will play Mato alongside Jesse Lipscombe (Abracadavers, Locked in Love) as Coach Allen.  

Newcomers this season include Carson MacCormac (Clown in a Cornfield, Riot Girls) as Zach, Janet Kidder (Xchange, Knockout) as Joanne, Natalie Sharp (Wired Shut, Hit the Road) as B. Hartford, Riele Downs (Darby and the Downs, A Breed Apart) as Maria, and Jake Manley (Infamous, The Order) as Wylder, Deadline states.
