First Look At Season Four of ‘Evil’

According to TVLine, they have acquired exclusive first-look photos of season four of Paramount+’s Evil. The series isn’t slated to return until early 2024. TV Line got the photos as a part of their #2024FirstLook series.

According to TVLine, the series was greenlit for a season four halfway through the season three run in July of 2022, a decision that was almost guaranteed since the series is one of Paramount+’s most popular titles. The latest update on the production status for season four is that the series has officially wrapped in December. The series was delayed for a few months due to the actors and writers strike. There has been no update for when season four will premiere. The expectation is some time in the late summer or fall of 2024.

Season three ended with a massive cliffhanger. With the crew continuing to investigate cases passed down by the church, things get more complicated than they thought. With massive twist awaiting the group at the end of the season three, there’s a lot to cover in the next season.

In an interview with TVLine after the season three finale, series co-creator/executive producer Robert King (The Good Wife, Your Honor) said, “The show is best when it plays a psychological reality and the supernatural reality, and I think they’re almost flips of the same coin, you know?”

According to TVLine, season four is expected to explore Leland’s relationship with Kristen, understanding what her dream about a demon baby meant and trying to understand her unconscious actions. While Kristen deals with the baby, presumably David will figure out what the message “38 days, woe to Babylon” means. The priest will also try to keep the Kristen’s demon at bay, while trying to decipher Grace’s visions.

The series stars Aasif Mandvi (The Daily Show, The Internship), Kurt Fuller (Scary Movie, Psych), Michael Emerson (Lost, Saw), Christine Lahti (Swing Shift, Chicago Hope), Brooklyn Shuck (Rise) and Skylar Gray (Lennon or McCartney, The Grizzly Diaries). There has not been any other major casting announcements outside of the regular cast.

According to TVLine, no additional information is available at this time.
