Summer Glau has been cast in a recurring role on the CW’s Arrow, Deadline reports.
Glau will portray Isabel Rochev, the Vice President of Acquisitions for Stellmoor International, a company attempting to take over Queen Consolidated.
In the comics, Rochev rose to the head of Queen Industries; she considered Oliver Queen an obstacle to her success. In the show, only her name has appeared—on Robert Queen’s list of corrupt, powerful people in Starling City.
Glau has appeared in a number of popular genre series, including Firefly, Dollhouse, Chuck and the Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Production recently began on the second season of Arrow. The series’ cast and crew (including Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Katie Cassidy, Emily Bett Rickards, Colton Haynes and executive producer Greg Berlanti) will preview the show’s upcoming season at San Diego Comic Con next week.
