‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Crew Talks Season 4 at WonderCon

Cast and crew of Fear the Walking Dead took the dais at WonderCon with moderator extraordinaire Chris Hardwick to talk about new members and what’s in store for season 4.

Deadline covered the panel providing highlights of the discussion with showrunners Greg Nicotero, Scott Gimple, Andrew Chambliss, and Ian Goldberg. Cast members participating included current stars Danay Garcia (Luciana Galvez), Colman Domingo (Victor Strand), and Alycia Debnam-Carey (Alicia Clark). Talk of the town Lennie James (Morgan) joined in with series newcomers Jenna Elfman, Garrett Dillahunt, and Maggie Grace.

Host Hardwick explained the back-to-back Walking Dead finale and Fear the Walking Dead premiere on April 15. As previously featured, Lennie James’ Morgan will be the crossover character bridging the two shows. Gimple has promised that aside from his debut, the show this season is “everything you know about the show.”

In keeping with the unspoken panel code of ethics, no one provided any significant teasers for season 4. Gimple added that the survivors are facing shifts in power, enemies becoming allies, and relationships changing. Chambliss added, “This season is all about a journey from isolation to community and it’s about people in a bleak and dark world looking for a shred of hope to keep fighting.”

If you haven’t had a chance to catch the trailer for Season 4, you can find it here. Until Fear debuts April 15, catch the final season 8 episodes of The Walking Dead, Sundays on AMC.
