The Writers Guild of America expelled Larry Amoros for writing while the Guild was striking against his show Fashion Police, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
WGA strike “Fashion Police”
The WGA is accusing Amoros of ‘scab’ writing, a term for writers who continue to work while on strike, and for not reporting other Fashion Police writers for doing the same. The WGA has fined Amoros a penalty of up to $14,000 for the violation. Amoros has stated that he resigned from the WGA officially a month ago, but hasn’t paid dues in over 15 years. The strike against Fashion Police began on April 17th.
