‘Extreme Weight Loss’ Will Continue With a Fourth Season

On Monday, ABC announced that the next season of Extreme Weight Loss is already in the works.

 

The show, which is currently airing its third season, follows “super obese” people for one year, helping them make major lifestyle changes in order to lose weight.

Host and trainer Chris Powell is scheduled to return for the new season. The first 90 days of treatment will take place at University of Colorado’s Anschutz Health and Wellness Center. Dr. Holly Wyatt, the facility medical director, will also join the show.

The Hollywood Reporter explains that the fourth season will most likely debut in 2014 and consist of thirteen, two-hour episodes.
