‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ to be Inducted Into NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame

The hit sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond will be inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters’ Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the hit sitcom, Everybody Loves Raymond, which aired on CBS for nine seasons will be honored on April 7 at the National Association of Broadcasters’ Show in Las Vegas.

Cast members Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Doris Roberts, Brad Garrett and Monica Horan as well as the show’s creator, Phil Rosenthal, and several of the show’s principal writers are expected to attend the induction ceremony.

The family comedy, which debuted in 1996 and ranked among the top 10 programs on television beginning with the 2000-2001 season completed its network run on CBS in May 2005.

The series was executive-produced by Rosenthal, Romano, Stu Smiley and Rory Rosegarten and produced by Worldwide Pants and HBO Independent Productions.

The series also won multiple Emmys and a Screen Actors Guild award.

Betty White, Garry Marshall, The Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live, and M*A*S*H were previous NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame television inductees.
