Hulu’s East Los High is returning with a drama and dance filled season this month! The official trailer for the upcoming fourth season dropped recently and gives fans a taste of what to expect.

The teaser shows Gina (Alexandra Rodriguez) speaking out against immigration raids at a high school graduation ceremony by stating “We urge you to speak up! And give someone with no voice a voice!” It’s also revealed that Eddie (Carlito Olivero) somehow landed in prison and the trailer suggests that Jacob (Gabriel Chavarria) may have cheated on Ceci (Danielle Vega) with his ex-girlfriend Maya (Alicia Marie Sixtos).
However, Jacob may not be the only one who does something to jeopardize his relationship with Ceci. As previously reported on mxdwn television, Ceci may be seduced by Vincent (Prince Royce), the head coach of Bomb Squad’s rival team. In addition, fans of East Los High will see Camila (Vannessa Vasquez) and Jesus (J.D. Pardo) try to live a crime-free life while rekindling their love affair.
East Los High is one of the few English-language series featuring all Latinx actors and was Hulu’s first original series to be renewed for a fourth season. The show revolves around the lives of young adults and high school teens growing up in an underrepresented neighborhood in East Los Angeles. The series incorporates drama, humor, and transformative storylines that aim to not only engage viewers but educate them on important issues including immigration reform, safe sex, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. East Los High’s writers are largely Latinx which is essential when trying to accurately portray some of the experiences of Latinxs through television.
