Documentary On Penthouse Founder Comes To Epix

“Filthy Gorgeous”, a documentary chronicling the life of Bob Guccione, is coming to Epix November 8 at 11 p.m.

The film of the late founder of Penthouse magazine will be making its television debut shortly after the world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, according to Indiewire.

The documentary directed by Barry Avrich traces “Guccione’s life as an unlikely catalyst for ’60s counter culture and his eventual downfall and loss of his fortune,” according to the Indiewire.

“Bob Guccione was a complex man whose publications impacted the lives of many, both in positive and negative ways. The film is incredibly intriguing and one our viewers will not want to miss,” said Epix president Mark Greenberg.
