Three new Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials are headed our way, and Disney+ and BBC have finally revealed a brand new trailer and the official release dates. The new episodes are set to premiere on November 25, December 2, and December 9. All of the episodes will be available to stream on Disney+ except in the UK and Ireland, where the series will be aired on BBC.
Fans are very excited to see the return of a beloved doctor in these new special episodes as David Tennant (Good Omens) will be returning as the 14th Doctor along with Catherine Tate (Queen Of Oz) as Donna Temple-Noble. The specials will bring the two back together and put them face-to-face with a brand new villain, who seems to be one of their toughest matches yet called the Toymaker, who is played by Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother). The first special in this anniversary series is titled The Star Beast, the second Wild Blue Yonder, and the third, The Giggle. The trailer has given audiences a sneak peek into the action-packed story that is going to unfold in the new episodes and introduces us to the Doctor’s latest villain and how tough their victory against him might be.
