‘Disney+’ Gives The Rundown Of Everything Currently Available At Launch

Disney+ revealed its interface and everything else that it has to offer for when it finally launches. As Disney’s foray in online streaming, it understandably offers less content then something like Netflix, but there are positive claims that it feels lot more polished and clean. Perhaps this is due to how minimalist and barren the new site appears, but don’t let that deceive you from Disney’s library of content, ranging anywhere from Star Wars to the older live-action originals.

Over the next year or so, Disney+ has plans to market and compete with other competitors like Apple TV+. The company has plenty of advantages in both movies and shows already assigned to its massive name. The diverse catalog of exclusives that they plan to release will come to the U.S. November 12th according to this tweet.

You might be thinking, what makes the new site so special? Naturally, Disney’s first thought in standing out was to add it’s exclusive films and shows. Originals like Lady and the Tramp or The Mandalorian are infamous, but Disney thought bigger, and the service is meant to include just about every theatrical film and show ever released to their name. That means for most fans that returning to favorites will always be an option; exploring some of the other obscure films over the years is always a plus too.

While this clip shows all the recent films that Twitter followers will probably be familiar with, they don’t touch upon some of the older shows that makes Disney the well-established company that it is. Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Moana, and Captain Marvel are all recognizable, but what about some of the classics like Boy Meets World, High School Musical, and even 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea? Generations today might not be as familiar and Disney has assessed this, providing the opportune solution in a simple and accessible site.

It’s impressive to note that Disney has considered pretty much everything for viewing experience; the streaming site will also focus on originals like High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and even The Mandalorian upon its releaseWe’ll look forward to original content both from the past and upcoming as Disney joins streaming.
