Disney+ Announces Two New Star Wars Series Titled ‘Young Jedi Adventures’ And ‘Tales Of The Jedi’

During this year’s Star Wars Celebration at the Anaheim Convention Center, it was revealed that there will be two new Star Wars series coming soon, Young Jedi Adventures and Tales Of The Jedi, according to DeadlineTales Of The Jedi will debut first in Fall of this year while Young Jedi Adventures will debut on Disney+ in 2023.

Tales Of The Jedi will be an anthology series that will feature multiple original animated shorts. It will tell stories of Jedi from the prequel era of Star Wars. It’s unclear exactly which Jedi will be featured, but it was revealed that it will show the origin story of fan favorite, Ahsoka Tano, who was introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and then later featured in Star Wars: Rebels and The Mandalorian. 

This will be Disney+’s second animated Star Wars anthology series. The first was Star Wars Visions, which debuted in September 2021.

Young Jedi Adventures will also be debuting on Disney+ Junior. It is set during The High Republic era and will tell the story of younglings learning the ways of the force. It is unclear who will be voicing the characters in both series.

The announcement of these series were just a couple of the major announcements made at Star Wars Celebration 2022. Star Wars announced that the third season of The Mandalorian will debut in February 2023. They also announced another new series titled Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, which will star Jude Law (Sherlock Holmes). They also released the first trailer for the upcoming Andor series and announced it will debut on Disney+ on August 31st.
