Disney+ Announces New Marvel Series ‘Marvel Studios: Legends’

Adding the expanding Marvel catalog for the streaming service, Disney+ and Marvel Studios have announced the new series, Marvel Studios: Legends, which will be arriving on the platform on January 8, 2021, according to Marvel.com. The upcoming Marvel series is expected to introduce the MCU’s Phase Four with a chance to retell some of the universe’s feature characters and their most iconic moments. It is uncertain about the number of episodes the series will contain. 

The first two episodes of Marvel Studios: Legends will center on and coincide with the January premiere of WandaVision and the two superhero characters, Wanda and Vision. The focus on Wanda Mximoff will feature her navigation of difficult relationships and loss during her time in the MCU. On the other hand, Vision’s story on the new Marvel series will follow his mission to comprehend humanity to a better extent and the kindling of his romantic relationship with Wanda. 

Currently, it is unknown what MCU characters future episodes of Marvel Studios: Legends will focus on in addition to its release of future installments.
