According to Deadline, Dar Salim (The Convent) has joined the cast of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. Salim will play a recurring character named Mohammed ‘Mo’ Farooq. The Terminal List: Dark Wolf streams on Prime Video.
The character Mo, Deadline said, is an Iraqi Special Operations Forces officer. He was formerly trained in the CIA Scorpions program. Due to having been raised in a world of war and dictatorship, his end goal is to strengthen his country.
Deadline gave the synopsis for the series, saying “the prequel, set five years before the mothership series, is an elevated espionage thriller that takes viewers on Ben Edwards’ journey from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator, exploring the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it.” Edwards is played by Taylor Kitsch.
The series is co-created by the author of The Terminal List Jack Carr (True Believer: A Thriller) as well as showrunner David DiGilio (Traveler). Other starring celebrities include Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy), Luke Hemsworth (Land of Bad), Chris Pratt (Everwood) and Jared Shaw (The Tomorrow War), Deadline reported.
Deadline said that Kitsch and Pratt also act as executive producers along with appearing in the show via Indivisible Productions. Other executive producers include Antoine Fuqua (The Equalizer) and Kat Samick (Bullet Train), through Hill District Media. Other key players include pilot director Frederick E.O. Toye, writer/former Army Ranger Max Adams, and actor/writer/former Navy SEAL Shaw. The show is a co-production from Amazon Studios and MRC Television/Civic Center Media.
Deadline also revealed that just last year Prime Video announced that The Terminal List would be returning for a second season. This time, it would be based on another book by Carr titled True Believer.
Deadline also credited other works by Salim, including Darkland II, The Gentlemen, Loving Adults, Warrior, A War, and Black Crab. Many of these features are international films. He is repped by Buchwald and Emptage Hallett.
