Danielle Savre Joins NBC’s ‘Found’ For Season Two Following ‘Station 19’ Finale

ABC’s popular drama Station 19 recently concluded its seven-season run, but one of its stars, Danielle Savre (Malcolm In The Middle, Supernatural, Heros), has already secured a new role. According to Comicbook.com, Savre will join the cast of NBC’s Found for its second season. While details about her character remain under wraps, Savre will appear in a recurring capacity. Found is scheduled to return this fall, airing Thursdays at 10 PM ET following Law & Order: SVU, although the exact premiere date has yet to be announced. On Station 19, Savre was known for her role as Maya Bishop.

As mentioned by Comicbook.com, earlier this week, it was revealed that Jason George (Fallen, Breaking In, Kidnap), who portrayed Ben Warren on Station 19, will be returning to Grey’s Anatomy next season. George initially introduced the character on Grey’s Anatomy before joining Station 19. The series finale of Station 19 set up his return to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, highlighting his shift back to medicine due to an injury affecting his firefighting abilities.

Found, created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll (All American, Forever No More, Bones), follows Gabi Mosely, a recovery specialist who, along with her team, searches for missing persons overlooked by authorities and media. The work is personal for Gabi and her team, as reported by Comicbook.com because many of them have experienced kidnapping firsthand. In a dark twist, Gabi has kept her abductor, known as “Sir,” captive in her basement to leverage his criminal insights for her cases.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Saved By The Bell, Pitch, Mixed-ish), who portrays Sir, shared with Comicbook.com that his inspiration for the role came from real-life serial killer Ted Bundy, as suggested by showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll. Rather than drawing from fictional characters like Hannibal Lecter or Dexter, Gosselaar studied Bundy’s charisma and deceptive charm, which Carroll believed were key traits for Sir’s character.

Found promises to continue its gripping narrative with new faces and intense storylines as it returns for its sophomore season, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.
