D.L. Hughley Brings Autobiographical Comedy To FX

Continuing with the stride of autobiographical comedies, D.L. Hughley is creating his own version of Louis CK’s acclaimed comedy Louie for FX, according to Deadline.

The untitled show revolves around Hughley’s life experiences as an “unapologetically honest family man and radio host,” according to Deadline.

The comedian has been married for more than 25 years and has three children. He had a New York radio show before signing on to host a nationally syndicated afternoon drive show.

Sivert Glarum and Michael Jamin (Brickleberry) will also be co-writing the script and executive producing with one of The Original Kings of Comedy, according to Deadline.
