The Creative Arts Emmy Awards recognize achievements across a wide range of television categories, with the awards presented separately from the main Primetime Emmy ceremony. This year’s two Creative Arts ceremonies will be edited together into a single broadcast airing September 12 at 8 p.m. on FXX.
The 78th annual Primetime Emmy Awards will follow on September 14 at the Peacock Theater. Emmy-winning Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay (Leaving Las Vegas, Lake Placid, My Mom Jayne) will host the ceremony.
The Creative Arts Emmy ceremonies come after the Television Academy announced this year’s nominations in July. More presenters are expected to be revealed as the September ceremonies approach.
