Comedy Bang! Bang! is not just a podcast. It is a live tour, a stand-up showcase and TV show on IFC. The comedy was created by comedian Scott Akureman and features many guest stars who always bring lively personalities to the weekly shows.
The TV show on IFC is set to return for a second season. The new season will bring, along with fresh hilarity, new guest stars. Indiewire reports that the guests will include Jessica Alba, Aziz Ansari, David Cross, Zach Galifianakis, Bill Hader, Pee-wee Herman, Rashida Jones, Anna Kendrick, Jason Schwartzman, Casey Wilson and more!
The second season of Comedy Bang! Bang! will be comprised of 20 half-hour episodes according to Indiewire. This is double the number of episodes from season one. The episodes are set in a talk show format, hosted by Akureman himself. There will be interviews as well as games and other memorable moments.
Indiewire states that the second season will air July 12 at 10 P.M. on IFC. The season is split, the first half of the season will run from July 12 to September 13. The second half will run from October 18 through December.
