TVLine reports that the 23-year-old actor is set to pen an episode that will air later this season.
Colfer, who has been playing Kurt Hummel in the FOX show for the past five seasons, has now accepted Glee‘s producers’ invite to write an episode that should air somewhere in the end of this season.
Details on the upcoming episode are being kept under wraps, although it is known that Colfer has already had a meeting with the show’s group of producers and writers to brainstorm ideas.
It is not the first venture into writing for the actor, who already has a bestseller collection of books, Land Of Stories, under his belt, as well as a screenplay that he not wrote, but also starred in, Struck By Lightning.
