Charlie Sheen Wants His New Story to Be Told Through a Reality Series

It’s been about seven months since Charlie Sheen revealed his HIV-positive status and now he’s prepared to go further into detail about it. According to US Magazine, the 50 year-old Emmy-nominated actor is shopping a reality show about how he lives his life, particularly how he lives with the virus. So far, Sheen has met with several producers and he is ready to put down his guard and allow the cameras to show his world.

As of now, the series hasn’t been picked up but he was once the highest paid actor on television. That was until he was fired from CBS’ Two and a Half Men back in 2011 after eight seasons due to his drug use, turbulent behavior, and because he belittled Chuck Lorre, the series’ creator.

Before FX’s Anger Management was canceled in 2014, Sheen was accused of not appearing on set but now it appears the father of five wants to turn over a new leaf in his personal and professional life.

After years of bitterness with Denise Richards, Sheen’s ex-wife, had filed a lawsuit against Sheen, stating that he threatened her and their kids. But now it appears that things have finally smoothed over between the two since he spent the 4th of July with Richards and their daughters watching fireworks.

Sheen also wrote an open letter for the Today show, part of where he shared “Like every other challenge in my life, again, I was victorious and kicking this disease’s ass. I wish my story had ended there. Unfortunately, for my family and myself, it had only just begun.”
