

According to Deadline, there will be three new cast members for CBS’s upcoming show, Cupertino. Rob McClure (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Elsbeth), Joe Morton (The American Revolution, Trinity’s Triumph) and Steven Pasquale (The Four Seasons, Blue’s Big City Adventure) will join the new legal drama as recurring guest stars. Cupertino is a legal drama from the creators of The Good Wife, Robert King (Elsbeth, Happy Face) and Michelle King (Evil, Your Honor).
Deadline reports Cupertino as a David vs. Goliath legal drama that takes place in Silicon Valley. Created and executive produced by the Kings, the show follows lawyer Michael, played by Mike Colter (The Union, Murder City), who is cheated out of his stock options from his former company, a tech start-up. Joining forces with Rachel Weller’s (Tokyo Vice, A Man Called Otto) Olivia, Michael establishes a firm to take on big tech and cases from other spurned clients. Morton plays Michael’s father, Bayard, a celebrity lawyer who holds high expectations of his son. Pasquale is a successful lawyer named Ry. McClure will portray Bo, a potential client that approaches the firm for representation.
The three actors join previously announced cast members Renee Elise Goldsberry, who reunites with Colter and the Kings from her guest spot Evil, Busy Phillips (Cougar Town, Freaks and Geeks), Ella Stiller (The Comeback, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb) and Nik Dodani (The Parenting, Twisters)
According to Deadline, McClure is not only an accomplished television and film actor, but is best known for his work on stage. He recently earned a nomination for the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Lead Performer in a Musical for his portrayal of The Devil in Damn Yankee. He’s also received recognition for his stage performances for Mrs. Doubtfire on Broadway and Chaplin.
Deadline notes that Morton is an Emmy award winner and the recipient of many NAACP Awards for his work in the series, Scandal. He is repped by Anonymous Content and Del Shaw Moonves.
Pasquale is also known for his work on Broadway. According to Deadline, he was in Kenny Leon’s Broadway production of American Son, playing opposite of Kerry Washington (Imperfect Women, The Simpsons). He reprise the role for the Netflix adaptation. He also appeared in both The Good Wife and The Good Fight.
