Caterina Scorsone To Return To ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

The actress will be back for a few episodes this season, TVGuide reports.

Scorsone first appeared in Private Practice as Dr. Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey)’s substance-addicted sister, Amelia. She also made an appearence in Grey’s Anatomy seventh season and ended up helping her fellow neurosurgeon brother in a big case.

Now it seems like the 32-year-old Canadian actress will be reprising her character in ABC’s most successful medical show ever, and although details on her storyline are being kept from the public, it’s known that she’ll appear in an upcoming episode and will stay at least until the end of the current season.

Caterina Scorsone’s biggest role up until now has been Amelia Shepherd in both Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice, but the actress has also appeared in other shows, like Crash, 1-800-Missing and Power-Play.
