Carmy Lays Out the Rules in ‘The Bear’ Season Three Trailer

Things are once again heating up in the kitchen in a new trailer for The Bear‘s third season. The official trailer comes just days after FX released brief teaser trailer featuring the return of Ayo Edebiri’s (Bottoms, Big Mouth) Sydney and cousins Jeremy Allen White’s (Shameless, The Iron Claw) Carmy and Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s (Girls, NOS4A2) Richie.

While Carmy asserts that he is leading “a different kind of restaurant,” FX’s new extended trailer assures fans that the series’ signature heated contention isn’t going anywhere as Carmy lays out his “non-negotiable” rules to his sister, Natalie/”Sugar,” played by Abby Elliott (Search Party, Indebted).

Alongside White, Edebiri, Moss-Bachrach, and Elliott, the trailer also showcases the return of real-life chef Matty Matheson’s (It’s Suppertime!) Neil, Jon Bernthal’s (The Punisher, The Walking Dead) Mikey, and Molly Gordon’s (Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, Theater Camp) Claire. The trailer, posted by FX on YouTube, emphasizes the repercussions of Claire and Carmy’s tear-jerking breakup at the end of the second season with Neil poignantly telling Claire that Carmy still loves her. Several storylines are set to boil over and collide this season, as The Beef transforms into the series’ titular restaurant.

The release of the hit series’ third season comes after a string of Emmy wins for its first season, including Outstanding Comedy Series as well as acting wins for White, Edebiri, and Moss-Bachrach, and Golden Globe wins for its second season following a confusing awards schedule due to strike-related delays. FX’s new trailer suggests fans can expect more incredible performances from White, Edibiri, and the rest of the ensemble as the cast argues over Carmy’s new “non-negotiables.”

As fans eagerly await the award-winning show’s third season, Deadline reports that fourth season is already in production. Viewers can currently binge the first two seasons of The Bear on FX and Hulu, where the third season is set to premiere in full on June 27th.
