The former co-host of Dancing With The Stars has already landed an acting gig, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Burke-Charvet may have parted ways with DWTS, but she certainly hasn’t said goodbye to the network, which has just casted her on an acting role in Disney/ABC’s Melissa & Joey.
The former host will be Felicia, Joe (Joey Lawrence)’s ex-girlfriend who’ll bring some trouble to his relationship with Melissa (Melissa Joan Hart). She will appear in at least two episodes, with possibilities of recurring in more.
It is the first time that Brooke Burke-Charvet will return to a TV show since 2006, when she guest-starred in Las Vegas. Prior to that, she had also made a few stints in other programs, like The Bernie Mac Show, It’s All Relative and Monk.
She had been co-hosting the ABC dance contest Dancing With The Stars for eight seasons, ever since 2010, when she was let go by the network just last month.
