The previous Disney Channel star is keeping her place at the network, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
New Girl and The Social Network actress Brenda Song has signed a talent holding deal to star in a 20th Century TV project currently in development.
“After working with Brenda on New Girl and Dads last season, we simply couldn’t let her go — she’s one of the most talented, funny and authentic young actresses out there today,” said Tess Sanchez, senior vp casting at Fox Broadcasting Company. “We’ve got an incredible development slate this year, with multiple roles for which Brenda would be the perfect fit, and we can’t wait to cast her in one of our upcoming pilots.”
