Brad Ingelsby’s Upcoming HBO Series Adds Sam Keeley, Raúl Castillo, & Jamie McShane

Deadline reports that HBO’s Untitled Brad Ingelsby Task Force Project has added Sam Keeley (Kin, Joe vs. Carole), Raúl Castillo (Class of ’09, American Horror Stories), and Jamie McShane (The Lincoln Lawyer, Wednesday) to the cast. The currently untitled series is created by Brad Ingelsby (American Woman, Mare of Easttown) and stars Mark Ruffalo (All the Light We Cannot See, Begin Again).

The series is an original idea from Ingelsby and is about an FBI agent who leads a Task Force in Philadelphia and is attempting to stop an inconspicuous family man robbing drug-houses. Tom Pelphrey (Love & Death, Iron Fist) recently joined the series and will play a sanitation worker named Robbie.

McShane will play an intimidating, yet respected man, Perry. Castillo will play a longterm best friend of Robbie and a “devout cynic” according to Deadline. Keeley will play the head of a criminal organization, Jayson.

The series also recently added Thuso Mdebu (Castlevania: Nocturne, Saints and Sinners) and Emilia Jones (Locke & Key, Cat Person). Mdebu will play a task force member, Sergeant Detective Aleah, and Jones will play Robbie’s niece Maeve.

The Untitled Task Force Project is in pre-production and is written by Ingelsby. Ingelsby executive produces the series, along with Ruffalo, Mark Roybal (Doubt, Breathe In), Jeremy Yaches (Voyeur, Sidelined), Salli Richardson-Whitfield (I Am Legend, Eureka), Jeremiah Zagar (Hustle, We the Animals), Paul Lee (The Summer I Turned Pretty, White House Plumbers), Nicole Jordan-Webber (A Star is Born, Under the Lights), and David Crockett (The Gilded Age, The Town).

McShane is represented by Trademark Talent and Paradigm. Castillo is represented by Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, et al, CAA, and JWS Entertainment. 42 represents Keeley. Mbedu is represented by CAA, Johnson, Shapiro, Slewett et al, and Creative Partners Group. Jones is represented by CAA, Felker, Toczek, Suddleson, et al, ARG Talent, and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
