Bill Hader signed a development deal where he will create and star in a new comedy series for HBO.
Reported exclusively by Deadline, there are no details as to what the series is about. Hader is very well known for his role on Saturday Night Live. He created fan favorite character Stefon, a NY club scene expert, and the Italian talk show hosts Vinni Vedechi. He was a writer for SNL and Comedy Central’s South Park.
He can next be seen in Sundance Film Festival drama The Skeleton Twins starring opposite SNL alumna Kristen Wiig in September.
