Bill Cosby has teamed with Tom Werner (former produver for The Cosby Show) to develop a family comedy.
According to TV Guide, Cosby has been approached in public with the question: “Can’t you put something on that I can watch?” Cosby states that the series will not mimic The Cosby Show but will feature older children and their relationships with their parents.
“I want to be able to deliver a wonderful show to [a] network,” said Cosby. “Because there is a viewership out there that wants to see comedy, and warmth, and love, and surprise, and cleverness, without going into the party attitude.”
Cosby along with Tom Straw (writer and producer) are working on a reboot of animated series Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids.
